Gallery 263, the Cambridge Historical Commission, and MireliBooks Artist offer an evening for creative engagement combining an illustrated talk about the rich history of Cambridgeport with a hands-on printmaking workshop. Talk will be by Kit Rawlins of the Historical Commission. For printmaking, we will use a hand drawn design from Amazing Cambridge, a book of illustrations depicting iconic images of the City with quotes from local literary figures and information about the history and architecture of Cambridge.
This experimental exercise is designed to encourage awareness of the City, engage creative senses, and promote community engagement.
Get your tickets today! Two options are available: a “Workshop + Lecture” ticket which includes admission, instruction, and all materials, and a complimentary “Lecture Only” option if you only wish to hear the talk.
