ABOUT CALEN PERKINS
Calen is a versatile singer-songwriter and guitarist with a hearty appetite for catchy melodies, infectious rhythms and emotive lyrics that describe his socially conscious worldview, penchant for travel and longing for connection. Coming from a background in classical music studied on the clarinet and piano, he has spent time living in both New England and California, traveling extensively in Latin America and Europe, and working with at-risk youth at several non-profits, all of which contribute to the themes of his songs and his unique perspective as a writer.
Adriel Borshansky is a singer-songwriter from New Jersey by way of Russia and Israel, who performs under the stage name of Age. After a brief career as a jazz musician, Agebegan writing his own songs and exploring simple, intimate arrangements. Jazz can still be heard in his voice, but his songwriting has taken on a life of its own. He has performed at venues such as the Middle East in Cambridge and The Bitter End in NYC, recorded three full-length albums, written original music for documentary films, produced a “song-a-day project” throughout 2015, and most recently, headlined at the Unlock the Stage music festival in Bulgaria.
