Winner of the Boston Folk Festival’s Songwriter Contest and dual Creativity Award recipient from Salem State University, Molly Pinto Madigan is a young songwriter who has earned praise for her angelic voice. Filled with smoke and roses, heartbreak and beauty and unrelenting hope, her songs combine haunting melodies with raw, poetic lyrics to create an intimate and evocative listening experience.
Rachel Sumner is an award winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Boston. Co-founder of bluegrass band Twisted Pine and pan-folk trio Sumner & Moss, Rachel has proven herself to be a fixture in the regional roots scene. She has performed on the main stages of major festivals like Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Celtic Connections in Scotland, Green River Festival, and FreshGrass Festival and has had the honor of performing with folk luminaries like Peter Rowan.She is currently working on an EP of original songs, due out in fall 2018.
Hailed as “the songwriter’s songwriter” by the Newport Folk Festival, Ian Fitzgerald has been criss-crossing the country over the past several years singing what he’s written for audiences of all stripes. In growing recognition of Ian’s work and songwriting ability, the last few years have included a full touring schedule that has seen him perform in 39 states; performances at the Newport Folk Festival in 2015 and 2016; and shows opened for Iris DeMent, Joan Shelley, Twisted Pine, Willy Mason, Darlingside, The Ballroom Thieves, and many more.
